The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Lifestyle professional to lead our Lifestyle team and deliver a program that truly makes our aged care community come alive.

As our Lifestyle Coordinator, you’ll design and oversee a person‑centred Lifestyle program that reflects each resident’s interests, abilities and cultural background.
You’ll mentor a passionate team, drive engaging activities, and ensure our Lifestyle program is a central part of daily life and wellbeing within the home. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build strong relationships with residents and families to develop meaningful, individualised Lifestyle Plans

  • Create engaging activities that support emotional, social, cognitive, spiritual and physical wellbeing

  • Lead, support and motivate the Lifestyle team to deliver high‑quality programs

  • Work closely with clinical and care staff to ensure plans are safe, appropriate and aligned with resident needs

  • Ensure the program meets accreditation standards and organisational policies

  • Manage the activities budget and ensure resources and equipment are well maintained

  • Lead our volunteer program—recruiting, onboarding, coordinating and recognising volunteers

  • Build strong community links to bring external engagement into the home

To be Successful

  • Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle, Diversional Therapy or equivalent (recognised by Bolton Clarke)

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • A passion for creating meaningful experiences that enhance resident wellbeing

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team

  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Understanding of aged care legislation and regulatory requirements

  • Initiative and problem‑solving skills to drive positive outcomes

  • Complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
